Coronavirus Update: SAIL and ADH Day Programs

Good Evening:

Given the new restrictions announced by Governor Baker at this evening’s press conference, including a ban on gatherings of 25 or more, our SAIL and Adult Day Health programs will be closed for members/consumers on Monday, March 16th. We hope to get more clarity from DDS and DPH tomorrow on the expectations going forward and will update information as it becomes available. SAIL and ADH day program staff are expected to report tomorrow on a reduced schedule, 9-3. Our Administrative office will be open on Monday on a regular schedule.

This evening, the Governor also announced a mandatory minimum three week closure of all school programs (under age 22) until April 7th. Our administrative team will be meeting to address this new mandate and will provide updated information regarding alternative learning options for our students as soon as possible.

While the programs are closed, it is extremely important to avoid having students, staff, consumers and members gather with others in large groups. This defeats the purpose of being closed. Please continue to practice appropriate sanitary practices and social distancing. The most up to date guidance can be found at mass.gov/DPH.
