On August 3, 2009, SMEC opened the doors to our Adult Day Health Program. Located at our 27 Russells Mills location in Dartmouth, the SMEC ADH program serves individuals aged 22+ who have been found eligible for Medicaid-funded Adult Day Health services.

As an additional day program option for our adult consumers, SMEC ADH offers age-appropriate activities throughout the day, community trips, hot lunch, snacks, social and recreational opportunities. A nurse is on site daily to oversee medication/medical issues. A monthly schedule is developed with input from the attendees. Door to door transportation is provided.
