PARTICIPANTS:  Elementary Educators

DESCRIPTION:In this 6 hour workshop participants will learn the basics of block coding as well
as how to successfully implement and Hour of Code. We will look at a variety of coding
activities that are appropriate for students in grades k-5.Participants will engage in variety ofonline activities such as Code.org, The Foos, and Scratch. Participants will put their skills to the test with hands on coding activities using Lego Mindstorms and WeDo 2.0 kits.
This course is hands on.

COST:  $150 Member District – $175 Non Member District
